Penn Hodge
David “Penn” Hodge is a seasoned real estate developer with more than three decades of experience acquiring, developing, and managing commercial real estate assets across Georgia.
As founder of Penn Hodge Properties, Penn has built and overseen a diverse portfolio of 45+ retail centers and office buildings, totaling more than 2 million square feet. His work spans long‑term asset management, redevelopment, and adaptive reuse projects that strengthen communities while delivering lasting value.
Penn recently led the transformation of a 260,000‑square‑foot historic textile mill in Canton, Georgia into The Mill on Etowah, a mixed‑use destination that blends commercial, office, and community space. The project reflects his ability to reimagine legacy properties while honoring their architectural and economic significance.
In addition to his development work, Penn has served on the Georgia State Board of Economic Development, the Fulton County Development Authority, and currently serves on the Georgia State Board of Natural Resources. A graduate of the University of Georgia School of Accounting and Law School, he brings a disciplined, strategic approach to every project.
